Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
At Cabinet Mastery (operated by Northeast Woodworks, LLC, Sisters, OR), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. By signing up for Cabinet Mastery, using our site, or participating in our community/Zoom calls, you agree to this policy.
If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
1. What Personal Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, plus some automatically:
- Directly from you — When signing up, purchasing, or updating your profile: name, email address, phone number, billing/shipping address. Optional profile info in the Kajabi community: profile picture, business name, website links, bio, etc. In the community: You may post/share personal or business info (e.g., photos, stories) — this is optional, and we moderate for PG/respectful content. Payment info (credit/debit card details) is collected and processed securely by our third-party processor via Kajabi Payments — we do not store full card numbers.
- Automatically / from third parties — Usage data (e.g., pages visited, time spent) via Google Analytics, Facebook/Instagram Pixel, Google Tag Manager. From social media campaigns/ads: interaction data (e.g., clicks, views). Zoom live calls: name, email, display name, device info, chat messages (if used), and if recordings are enabled (we may record for quality/replay — check Zoom settings). We may add session recordings (e.g., via Hotjar or similar) in the future to improve the site/community experience.
We do not knowingly collect data from children (our program is for adult cabinet business owners).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide and manage your subscription (access videos, PDFs, community, Zoom calls, email support).
- Process payments and send billing updates.
- Send important service emails (e.g., new content alerts, Zoom links).
- Send promotional/marketing emails (e.g., upsells for coaching calls, newsletters) — you can unsubscribe anytime via the link in every email.
- Improve our service, content, and marketing effectiveness (e.g., analytics on what works).
- Moderate the community for respectful/PG content.
- Use testimonials, success stories, photos, or community posts (with permission granted in Terms) for marketing.
- Comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or enforce our Terms.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share data only as needed with trusted third parties (processors) who help run the service:
- Kajabi (hosting, payments, emails, community) — see their Privacy Policy: https://kajabi.com/policies/privacy
- Zoom (live calls) — see their Privacy Policy: https://zoom.us/privacy
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager)
- Facebook/Instagram (Pixel for ads/campaigns)
- Potential future tools (e.g., Hotjar for session recordings)
These providers are bound by contracts to protect your data and use it only for our purposes. We may also share data if required by law, to protect rights/safety, or in a business transfer (e.g., merger).
4. International Data Transfers
Our business and many providers (Kajabi, Google, Zoom, etc.) are based in the United States. If you're in the EU, UK, EEA, or elsewhere, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US or other countries.
Kajabi relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), UK Extension, and similar mechanisms for compliant transfers. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards (via our providers' certifications and contracts). By using our service, you consent to these transfers.
5. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active/subscribed, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, backup, or business needs. We do not have a set deletion schedule — data is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion (subject to legal requirements). Third-party providers (e.g., Kajabi, Zoom) may have their own retention policies.
6. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data (e.g., secure hosting via Kajabi). However, no system is 100% secure. In case of a data breach, we will notify affected users by email (describing what happened and steps to take). We are not liable for any damages from a breach beyond what law requires.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location:
- All users: You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond as required by law.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have rights to know what data we collect/use/share, delete it, correct it, and opt out of any "sale/sharing" (we do not sell or share for behavioral ads). No discrimination for exercising rights.
- EU/UK/EEA residents (GDPR): Rights include access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction, portability, objection to processing/marketing, and withdraw consent. Contact us or our providers directly (e.g., Kajabi at [email protected]).
To exercise rights, email [email protected] with proof of identity. We may need time (up to 45 days for CCPA, 1 month for GDPR) to verify and respond.
8. Cookies and Tracking
Our site uses cookies/trackers (via Kajabi, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.) for analytics, ads, and functionality. You can manage many via browser settings, but some are essential. We may add more (e.g., for session recordings) — check back for updates.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We'll notify you via email or in the platform for material changes. Continued use means you accept updates.
